Zirconia Ceramic Fiber Board: This board is made of zirconia fibers and has high strength, excellent thermal shock resistance, and high temperature resistance up to 1430℃(2600℉).
Low-density Ceramic Fiber Board: This board is made of low-density ceramic fiber and has excellent thermal insulation properties and good resistance to high temperature.
High-purity Ceramic Fiber Board: This board is made of high-purity alumina-silica fibers and has very low thermal conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance, and high-temperature resistance.
Polycrystalline Ceramic Fiber Board: This board is made of polycrystalline fiber and has high-temperature resistance, excellent thermal shock resistance, and high mechanical strength.
Bio-soluble Ceramic Fiber Board: This board is made from bio-soluble fibers and has excellent thermal insulation properties, excellent thermal stability, and is non-hazardous to human health.

Ceramic fiber board is made up of alumina-silica fibers, which are formed into a flexible sheet through a wet forming process. The fibers are then vacuum-formed with organic and inorganic binders to reinforce the shape and cohesion of the board. They are then dried, cut into the desired size and thickness, and finally fired at high temperatures to remove any remaining organic binders and to vitrify the fibers into a rigid, low-density material with excellent thermal stability and insulation properties. The major component of the ceramic fiber board is alumina and silica fibers.
Lightweight: Thebulk density of the ceramic fiber lining is about 25% of that of the light-weight insulating brick lining, and about 10% of the light-weight castable lining. The use of fiber lining can greatly reduce the load of the steel structure of the kiln and prolong the service life of the lining.
Small Heat Storage: The heat capacity of the ceramic fiber board is about 1/10 of that of the light heat-resistant lining or light castable, and the specific heat capacity is small, which plays a significant role in the shutdown and start-up of the heating furnace, reducing industrial production and furnace maintenance costs.
Low Thermal Conductivity: The thermal conductivity of the ceramic fiber board lining is 1/10 of that of the lightweight thermal insulation lining, and the heat resistance effect is better.
Good thermal shock resistance and mechanical vibration resistance
The ceramic fiber modules made of ceramic fiber blankets have toughness and elasticity. Under the premise that the furnace body can withstand, the lining of the ceramic fiber folding modules can meet the requirements of any fast speed. Heated or cooled without damage.
Stable chemical properties
The main chemical component of ceramic fiberboard is aluminum silicate, which is a neutral and acidic material. Except for the reaction with strong acid and alkali, it will not be corroded by other acids, alkalis, water, oil and steam.
Wide application range
Refractory ceramic fiber board can meet the use requirements of different operating temperatures of 600-1400, and fully meet the requirements of different industrial furnaces in various industries for refractory.
Ceramic Insulation Board Uses
Ceramic insulation board is vacuum-formed, insulation with machinability. The manufacturing process begins by wet forming alumina-silica fibers and binders and vacuum pressing the mixture into molds. Imagine combining the high heat resistance and insulating properties of ceramic fiber blankets into a more durable, rigid solution, and you have the innovative product known as ceramic fiber boards. Ceramic fiber insulation board can be produced in many shapes, temperature ratings, dimensions, densities, and compressive strengths.
Ceramic insulation board is commonly used as a hot face lining in high-temperature settings. Hot face lining boards are backed by lower-temperature backup boards or ceramic fiber blankets. Low thermal conductivity, high-temperature stability, uniform density, and exceptional resistance to thermal shock and chemical attack are all advantages of ceramic fiberboards.
Insulating boards can also be used as backup insulation behind dense refractories such as castables or firebrick to provide a more efficient lining.
Ceramic fiber boards are incredibly adaptable and can be used in various ways. Backup or hot face insulations include chimney linings, industrial furnaces, kilns, stoves, boiler wall insulation, combustion chambers, heat shields, ceramic liners, baffle replacement, expansion joints, and refractory linings. In many applications, it also works effectively as a high-temperature gasketing material.
Components of Ceramic Fiber Board
Ceramic fiber board is a type of heat insulation material that is widely used in industrial applications. It is made of high-purity alumina and silica fibers that are mixed with a binder material to form a board. The components of ceramic fiber board include

Alumina
These are made of high-purity alumina and are the primary component of ceramic fiber board. They provide excellent thermal insulation and are resistant to high temperatures.

Silica
These are also made of high-purity silica and provide good thermal insulation as well as chemical resistance.

Binder material
This is a type of adhesive that is added to the alumina and silica fibers to give them shape and hold them together. The binder material can be organic or inorganic and can vary in composition depending on the specific application of the ceramic fiber board.

Additives
These are additional materials added to the board to enhance its properties. Examples include zirconia for increased strength and stability, or coatings to improve the board's resistance to moisture.

Ceramic Fiber Board Handling

Handling: Ceramic fiber boards are fabricated by ceramic fibers that may cause itch and respiratory system discomfort. Please use mask and gloves when handling them.
Cutting And Shaping: The material is soft. It can be cut by general wheel saw and utility knife. If large quantity is needed, die cut is a good choice
Use Of Adhesive To Join: We have A14 high temperature adhesive that is fabricated from high purity Alumina and Silicate raw materials. It is designed to bond ceramic fiber boards together.
Clear each surface to be bonded by removing contaminants and dust using a vacuum.
Mix the adhesive well because material may settle while transported or sitting.
Apply the adhesive to each surface to be bonded, and contact surfaces together.
Apply light but firm pressure for 1 minute to allow for initial set, and then gently place the bonded piece aside in such a fashion that the bonding plane does not have any force acting on it except in the normal direction to the bonding plane. Excess adhesive may seep from the bond site.
Allow to dry at room temperature, or an elevated temperature (don't exceed 100°C), for about 24 hours. Ceramic bond will be developed at temperature of above 1000°F.
Screw Holding: When use screws to hold a board on a base, it's better to paint a layer a adhesive on both screws and the base.
Maintenance Tips for Ceramic Fiber Board
Keep the board clean and free from debris or foreign materials that could damage the board.
Do not stack or place heavy objects on the board, as it can be easily damaged.
Regularly inspect the board for cracks and signs of wear and tear, and replace it if necessary.
Handle the board with care during installation, as it is fragile and can easily break.
Store the board in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Install the board using only recommended installation methods and materials, to ensure its longevity.
Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and sudden temperature changes, as they can cause the board to crack or break.
Perform regular maintenance on the furnace or stove in which the board is installed, to ensure that it is functioning properly and not causing any undue stress on the board.
Always wear protective gear when handling the board, such as gloves and safety glasses, to protect against injury.

How To Cut Ceramic Fiber Board
Measure and mark the area you want to cut on the ceramic fiber board using a straight edge and a marker.
Put on your protective gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and a mask for breathing.
Using a circular saw or a , make sure to use a blade specifically designed for cutting ceramic fiber board. It's crucial to use the right blade to prevent chipping or cracking of the board.
Start cutting the board by holding the blade of the saw steady against the marked line. Make sure to follow the line and cut smoothly.
As you finish the cut, turn off the saw and let the blade come to a stop before removing it from the board.
After cutting, check the edges of the board for any rough or jagged spots. Use sandpaper or a grinder to smooth out any imperfections in the edge.
Dispose of any leftover materials properly and clean up the area.
