The construction precautions of ceramic fireproof board mainly include the following points:
1. Environmental requirements:
The construction site should be kept clean to avoid dust affecting the quality of construction.
Control the indoor temperature and humidity to ensure that the construction is carried out under the right conditions. It is generally recommended that the temperature be between 15°C-30°C and the humidity should be below 70%.
2. Substrate Treatment:
Ensure that the substrate size is correct, and fix it in an orderly manner from the middle of the fireproof board to the periphery to avoid disorderly fixation. The edges of the substrate should be straight and free of cracks or chips.
3. Fireproof board installation:
The fireproof board should be fixed from the middle of the board to the four sides of the board, and the nail head should be slightly buried in the board, but the surface of the fireproof board should not be damaged. The whole board should be used for the fireproof board, and if it needs to be docked, it should be close to but not forced in place.
There should be a 3mm notch between the fireproof board at the end and the top surface and the ground, and the caulking paste should be added to the notch during construction, and then the board should be laid, and the caulking paste should be squeezed to make it in close contact with the adjacent surface.
4. Seam Treatment:
There are three forms of fireproof board wall joints, namely flat joints, recessed joints and strip joints. Generally, there are more flat seams, which can be handled according to the following procedures:
Remove the floating soil in the joints and brush a 50% concentration of 108 glue solution.
Use a small scraper to embed the WKF joint putty into the seam, and the seam should be filled with inlay and scraped flat with the groove.
After the putty is dry, check whether there are cracks at the caulking, if there are cracks, analyze the cause, and re-caulking.
5. Positive angle treatment:
Two layers of fiberglass cloth strips are pasted at the sunny corner, both sides of the corner are turned over 100mm, the pasting method is the same as that of the flat seam, and the surface is also scraped flat with WKF putty.
6. Finished product protection:
After the installation is completed, the finished product should be protected to prevent rain erosion and scorching sun exposure, so as to ensure the construction quality and service life of the fireproof board.
7. Other precautions:
Avoid installation in places where the temperature is very different from the normal use temperature
Fireproof board.
Pay attention to the conveyance and return of air, as well as the maintenance of the air conditioning system, to avoid the impact of dust in the construction in the building.
It is recommended not to use insulation material to cover the ceiling or support the insulation material with the ceiling, so as not to affect the performance and use of the fireproof board.
