Insulation materials for electric roller kiln


The heat loss of the kiln body is mainly divided into heat storage loss and heat dissipation loss. The main measure to reduce heat loss is to strengthen the effective insulation of the kiln body, and select the most reasonable and economical materials to achieve the thinnest kiln wall structure while ensuring that the outer temperature of the kiln wall is as low as possible.


The reasonable selection of insulation materials has a great effect on energy conservation and consumption reduction. For example, compared with heavy refractory bricks, lightweight ceramic fibers have the following advantages: light weight, small thermal conductivity, weight only 1/6 of lightweight materials, bulk density 1/25 of traditional refractory bricks, heat storage capacity only 1/30-1/10 of brick lining, and kiln outer wall temperature can be reduced to 30 ℃~60 ℃. In terms of fiber energy conservation, the total energy consumption has decreased from 20.6% to 9.02%, achieving an energy saving rate of 16.67%.


Applying high-performance insulation materials or insulation materials to ceramic kilns can not only reduce the heat storage and dissipation of the kiln wall, but also greatly reduce the thickness of the kiln wall, simplifying the structure of the kiln wall.
