Alkaline Earth Silicate Ceramic Fiber are amorphous fibers prepared by high-temperature melting method, with biological solubility. The main chemical components are alkaline earth metal oxides such as calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, and silicon dioxide.
Alkaline Earth Silicate Ceramic Fiber do not contain aluminum oxide (content<1%) and have the characteristic of being degradable in the human body. Due to the addition of CaO, the melting year is larger, and compared to conventional ceramic fibers, soluble fiber fibers are longer, resulting in lower slag ball content and higher fiber content. Long fiber soluble high-temperature insulation cotton is produced through the double wood needle interweaving process, which has stronger tensile strength.
Under high temperature conditions, Alkaline Earth Silicate Ceramic Fiber board have low thermal conductivity and excellent heat resistance. They can maintain good tensile strength, toughness, and fiber structure even after long-term use in neutral and oxidizing atmospheres.
Alkaline Earth Silicate Ceramic Fiber Board is vacuum formed and rigid self-supporting fiber insulation boards manufactured from a slurry consisting of ceramic fibers and either organic or inorganic binders.
