Bio Soluble Ceramic fiber cloth is a type of fabric made from Bio Soluble ceramic fibers, which is mainly used for insulation and has good insulation and thermal insulation effects (mainly based on actual reports). Ceramic fiber cloth has good high-temperature insulation performance, good service life, low thermal conductivity, and anti thermal shock effect.

Low thermal conductivity (less heat loss):

At an average temperature of 200 ℃, the thermal conductivity of Bio Soluble ceramic fiber materials is less than 0.06W/mk, and at an average temperature of 400 ℃, it is less than 0.10W/mk, which is about 1/8 of that of lightweight heat resistant amorphous materials and about 1/10 of that of lightweight bricks. However, compared to heavy fire resistant materials, the thermal conductivity of ceramic fiber materials can be ignored. So the effect of fire-resistant fiber materials is good.

Construction personnel can start work after basic training, and the impact of construction technology factors on the effectiveness of furnace lining is small. With the development of production and application technology of fire-resistant fibers, fire-resistant Bio Soluble ceramic fiber products have achieved serialization and functionalization. The products can meet different temperature requirements from 600 ℃ to 1400 ℃ in terms of usage temperature.

From a morphological perspective, various forms of secondary or deep processing products have gradually formed, ranging from conservative Bio Soluble ceramic fiber cotton, ceramic fiber blankets, fiber felt products to fire-resistant fiber modules, ceramic fiber boards, ceramic fiber shaped products, ceramic fiber paper, fiber textiles, and more. It can meet the usage needs of different industrial furnaces in various industries for fire-resistant ceramic fiber products.

The advantages of Bio Soluble ceramic fiber cloth:

1. Clean, harmless, and odorless;

2. A series of products such as Bio Soluble ceramic fiber cloth, tape, and packing that use alkali free glass fiber fibers as additive materials have a higher layer of electrical insulation and high-temperature electrical insulation than glass fibers;

3. Continuous use temperature can reach 1000 ℃, and short-term use temperature can reach 1260 ℃;

4. Has good resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, as well as the ability to resist the erosion of molten metals such as aluminum and zinc;

5. Good high-temperature strength and insulation (based on actual reports) performance (please refer to physical and chemical indicators);

The above is an introduction to the advantages of ceramic fiber cloth. Bio Soluble Ceramic fiber cloth contains about 15% of fibers. When the ceramic fiber cloth is heated up at once, the fibers in the product will gradually appear blackened and local smoking will occur. Many people see the fibers turn black when using ceramic fiber cloth, thinking they are on fire. In fact, this is a phenomenon that occurs during the use of ceramic fiber cloth. Because ceramic fiber cloth is a product containing fibers and carbonization, blackening and carbonization may occur during use.

We can explain its principle of fire resistance and insulation from the following three directions.

1. The poor heat transfer ability of Bio Soluble ceramic fiber cloth:
When Bio Soluble ceramic fiber cloth is interwoven, there is no clear directionality, and heat is generally transferred along the fibers, which makes it difficult to transfer heat quickly. In addition, when fibers come into contact with the hot surface, they are rarely in vertical contact, which makes it difficult for heat to be transferred to the fibers.
2. There is too much gas inside the Bio Soluble ceramic fiber cloth, resulting in poor convective heat transfer:
Strands of fibers interweave together, forming many chambers filled with still air. We all know that air has poor heat transfer ability, let alone static air. These stationary gases not only have poor heat transfer efficiency, but also hinder the invasion of hot air flow.
3. Bio Soluble Ceramic fiber cloth has high thermal resistance:
The contact point of fibers can reach 80%, which further expands the thermal resistance of heat transfer. The fiber itself is opaque, and thermal radiation cannot be transmitted within the fiber. Moreover, the fiber has a small area and receives less radiation, so thermal radiation is basically not transmitted on the fiber.
