It should be noted that aluminum silicate fibers with different applicable temperatures can be selected for ceramic fiber boards, and the organic adhesive can be one or more mixtures of polyacrylamide, cationic starch, or methyl fibers. When foaming and closing batteries, it is necessary to pay attention to the correct methods and steps used. The following editor will mainly introduce the precautions in this regard.
1. The pore size and porosity of glass ceramic fiberboard can be controlled by adjusting the amount of catalyst. In the general foaming process, amine catalysts catalyze the reaction between isocyanates and water, which is called foaming reaction. Triethylenediamine or organotin catalyst is used to catalyze the reaction between isocyanate and polyol, namely gel reaction. If there is too much catalyst in the process, it is easy to form closed cells. Therefore, the solution is to reduce the amount of gel catalyst and the rate of closed cells.
2. The reason for the formation of closed pores is related to the degree of polymerization and branching of polyether polyols. In the reaction process of glass ceramic fiberboard, polyethers with high functionality form a network structure faster, which increases the closure rate. Therefore, the closed cell fraction of foam can be reduced by reducing the average functionality of polyether.
3. When the amount of foam stabilizer is too high, the cells will be too stable to open, or even shrink. Therefore, the amount of foam stabilizer must be appropriate.
